Custom Built PC vs Off The Shelf PC
A pre-built PC is a case of you get what they have, and not necessarily what suits your needs or requirements. For example, there is no point having an “all bells and whistles” computer, if all you are going to do is check your emails and do a bit of internet browsing, equally you won’t want a bog-standard PC if you want to play graphics hungry games, edit videos and photos or do Computer Aided Design.
Although pre-built PCs do have their place, we do find that some come with so much pre-installed software that it can clog up the PC, and a majority of it, if not all, will more than likely not get used anyway!
Custom Built PCs
We can configure and build a Custom PC running Windows 11, or Ubuntu. With a Custom Built PC from us we will ask you about what your day-to-day usage is, whether you just check your emails, browse the internet & use Zoom, or if you require a high-end gaming machine or will be doing photo and video editing. Feel free to ask us as many questions as you want, we are here to help after all.
We feel that buying a PC equates to purchasing a new car, you wouldn’t buy a Ferrari if you were only going to pop to your local supermarket once a week, and pootle around town, neither would you purchase a Kia Cee’d to take part in the Le Mans 24 hour Race.
